The Australian Government is investing $3.3 million to establish a rapid coronavirus (COVID-19) Remote Point of Care Testing Program for remote and rural Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The Australian Government is working closely with States and Territories and food retailers to ensure the reliable supply of food and essential items into remote communities.

Deliveries will continue as normal and are exempt from the travel restrictions that are in place with remote areas.

Residents in remote communities can help by only buying what they need so there is plenty for everyone.
