The Morrison Government has tasked the Productivity Commission with undertaking its first three-yearly review of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap.

Minister for Indigenous Australians, the Hon Ken Wyatt AM, MP, is pleased to announce three appointments – Mr Joshua Gilbert will join the Board of Indigenous Business Australia (IBA), Mr Roy Ah-See will continue as a Director of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) Board, and Mr Daniel Bourchier will continue as a Director on the Outback Stores Board.

The Midwest Aboriginal Media Association, servicing the mid-West region of Western Australia, is adding to their ranks with a $65,000 grant under the Indigenous Local Employment Fund.

Local Indigenous languages will be brought into the classroom, with the Morrison Government funding the development of up to 60 dual language books over three years.
