Seeking First Nations applications for Equity Implementation Advisory Group
Expressions of interest are open to First Nations people with disability who have experience in the arts, screen, digital games or cultural sectors, to join the Equity Implementation Advisory Group.

The Office of the Arts is seeking First Nations applicants to join current members of the Implementation Advisory Group (the Advisory Group) for Equity: the Arts and Disability Associated Plan (the Plan). The Advisory Group provides advice to help the government implement the Plan, track progress, and assess key activities and priorities under the Plan.
The Advisory Group is made up of d/Deaf or disabled artists and arts workers with experience in the arts, screen, digital games or cultural sectors.
Members advise on issues affecting d/Deaf and disabled artists, arts workers and audiences with disability across Australia.
There are 2 types of paid roles available for First Nations candidates: Regular Members and Observer Members.
The Plan was released in 2024 and is an action under Australia’s National Cultural Policy Revive and is an Associated Plan under Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031.
Applications to join the Advisory Group close at 11:59 pm AEST on Sunday 6 September 2026.
