Rangers photo & video competition extended!

The closing date for entries to the 2025 Healthy Country, Healthy Waters, Healthy Communities photography and video competition has been extended to Friday, 24 October 2025.

Indigenous Rangers use traditional knowledge and cultural practices, combined with Western science, to manage land, river and sea Country and deliver environmental, cultural, social and economic development outcomes. The competition is a chance to showcase this unique work managing and protecting Australia’s natural and cultural heritage.

Prizes include drones, iPads and binoculars.

The competition is open to creators of all experience levels from organisations receiving funding from the Commonwealth Government for Indigenous land and water management activities. Entries can be captured on smartphones or cameras.
