Apply now to help your community celebrate NAIDOC Week between 5 and 12 July 2026.

NAIDOC Local Grants are now available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and supporting organisations across Australia to celebrate NAIDOC Week between 5 and 12 July 2026.

Grants are open to all organisations, educational institutions, local governments and First Nations communities. Activities must celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, achievements and their continuing contribution to our country and Australian society.

In 2026, $3 million is available across 3 funding streams: educational institutions (up to $1,500), small-scale grants (up to $10,000), and large-scale grants (more than $10,000 and up to $25,000). It is expected that most grants will be awarded for $10,000 or less.

Grant applications close at 3:00pm AEDT on Thursday 19 February 2026.
