Seisia (formerly known as Red Island Point)
Located on the tip of Cape York Peninsula, over 2700 kilometres north west of Brisbane, Seisia is the most northern community on the Australian mainland.
Traditional Owners: Yadhaigana, Wuthathi, Unduyamo and Gudang people from the north and east had established themselves as a single group at Red Island Point.
Languages: The main language spoken in Seisia is Torres Strait Creole, however English and Kala Kawa Ya [Ka-la-ka-wa Ya] are also spoken.
