Expressions of Interest for the 2020 Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Public Program are now open!
Media Release - 2020 Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair
Visitors can experience art and design that charts the future of this vibrant and evolving contemporary Indigenous art scene. DAAF’s spectacular public program includes artist masterclasses and workshops, traditional dance performances, children’s activity stations, film, artist talks, food, lunchtime music concerts and more!
Following the incredible successes of this year's event, we want to make our 2020 Public Program bigger and better than ever, and we would absolutely love to hear from you!
We are looking for creatives who would like to host master artist workshops, present traditional and contemporary dance performances, cultural storytellers, and solo musicians.
Please tell us how you would like to be involved in the 2020 program. We can't wait to work with you on creating the next marvelous program of events.
We have updated our expression of interest form for 2020, and you will find all the information located in one convenient application (please note From Country to Couture EOI is coming soon!). Simply select all the relevant activities that you or your Art Centre would like to apply for. In each drop-down menu, you will see the artist/performer fee and any relevant terms and conditions.
This is great opportunity to share what is unique about your community and its culture. It is also powerful way to promote your artwork and engage with the Fair's new and returning audiences.
Participation in the Public Program is a paid opportunity.
Applications close 28 February 2020, with notification of successful applicants by 31 March 2020.
We can't wait to hear from you!
