Shared Responsibility Agreement

The community at Warmun want to improve school attendance and provide healthy activities for their kids. The community’s SRA will provide a swimming pool to be run under a ‘no school, no pool’ rule.

The Australian and Western Australian Governments are funding the pool’s construction and operating costs. The community will train to look after the pool and run swimming activities.

The ‘no school, no pool’ rule will encourage children to go to school so that they can play at the pool. The pool will also provide a meeting place for the community and regular swimming will help to improve the children’s health.
