Shared Responsibility Agreement

The Wangkatjungka community want to have better sport, recreational and cultural facilities to give young people in the community more opportunities to grow and develop.

The community has signed an SRA that will fence and provide lights for their existing basketball court, construct a shade cover for a playground and renovate the Community Hall. The community will also relocate the '50 Cent House', a structure used for cultural activities, to the community’s cultural grounds.

The community will run a 'clean up day', help in redeveloping the sport and recreation facilities, and encourage young people to take part in healthy activities.

The Australian Government will provide funds to upgrade the sporting facilities and restore the Community Hall.
