Shared Responsibility Agreement
The Ngumpan community want to improve the sport and recreational facilities available to their young people.
Through this SRA the community will work with the Australian Government to redevelop the existing basketball court and construct a shade cover for a nearby playground.
The community will volunteer their time to help with labour. Parents will help organise competitions, coach and referee games, and get their children to participate in sporting activities.
The basketball court will serve other community needs, providing a venue for meetings and cultural events.
The Australian Government will fund redevelopment of the basketball court and construction of the shade area.
