Shared Responsibility Agreement

The Kundat Djaru community wants to provide more structured activities for young people and increase youth involvement in community activities and schooling.

Kundat Djaru is part of the East Kimberley Council of Australian Governments (COAG) trial.

The Kundat Djaru community has initiated a number of after-school and weekend activities. As part of the SRA, the community will plan and organise one activity per week for young people.

The community will purchase and contribute games and sporting equipment and maintain the equipment. Parents and other adults will supervise all activities and keep records of the number of young people participating.

The Australian Government will fund the purchase of equipment and supplies for youth camps.
