Shared Responsibility Agreement
The Wadeye community want to raise community and regional awareness of education.
To do this, they will run a series of workshops on education and education planning in language. From these workshops, the community will decide on a model to establish their own education board. The Australian Government will provide funds to run the workshops and employ a qualified interpreter.
The newly established board will have broad community representation. It will guide community planning and strategies for future education at Wadeye.
