Shared Responsibility Agreement

The Murdi Paaki region is part of the New South Wales Council of Australian Governments (COAG) trial, led by the Department of Education, Science and Training and the New South Wales Department of Education and Training.

The region has developed a number of SRAs involving three communities (Bourke, Brewarrina, Enngonia) and the regional representative body—the Murdi Paaki Regional Council.

The Regional Council consists of 11 representatives from the Murdi Paaki region. Community Working Parties (CWPs) have been set up by each community to represent their views to the governments and organisations servicing the community.

The Murdi Paaki Regional Council has signed two SRAs to provide help to the Community Working Parties. They provide computers and secretariat support for each CWP.
