Shared Responsibility Agreement
The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is the site of a Council of Australian Governments (COAG) trial, led by the Department of the Environment and Heritage.
The ACT Indigenous community is working with the Australian and ACT Governments to support and strengthen local governance within and between the partners and streamline and improve services to the community.
Under this SRA, all partners are working together to meet the needs of the community including strengthening cultural identity; improving health and wellbeing; and improving educational outcomes.
This is one of the earlier agreements arising out of the COAG trials. It does not include community, family or individual obligations.
