Five Indigenous prisoners will be provided with training and employment opportunities with BHP Billiton and its contracting partners at Olympic Dam through an employment project to be funded by the Australian Government.
This year’s National Native Title Conference theme is Living with Native Title from the Bush to the Sea. Hosted by the Gumbaynggirr people, traditional owners of the Coffs Harbour region, the conference will be held at Novotel Coffs Harbour Pacific Bay Resort from the 2-4 June 2014.
Seventy Indigenous people are being provided with training and employment opportunities, with Ngaanyatjarra Council Aboriginal Corporation receiving $500,000 funding from the Australian Government for tourism and employment projects.
