What is your favourite memory from school?

In year 10, I was told that "Aboriginal people can't succeed". I've now been accepted to complete my Ph.D at The University of Melbourne.

Looking back, what would you tell your younger self about going to school?

Becoming educated does not mean losing your identity - rather it strengthens who you are, who you can be, and what you can achieve.

What do you think is the most important thing we can teach future generations?

Low expectations of our people is a horrible disease. Don't become a statistic; do what makes you happy.
