"Stay in school, education is your way out, never feel bad for yourself and always pick yourself up and try again".
From: Robert C Rutherford (Watego)
What is your favourite memory from school?
I wish l would have done my studies properly and really learnt when i was at school, but i spent more time in the headmaster's office. Now l give back and help disadvantaged children do the right thing and have many good memories of their own time at school and on then on to college. My own daughter was an outstanding honor student, was VP of class, homecoming queen, played three sports, cross country, track and soccer and is now in one of the top colleges in Texas. So remember education is the key and study hard.
Looking back, what would you tell your younger self about going to school?
Stay in school, study, don't be a fool and play around. Education is your way out, never feel bad for yourself. Always pick yourself up and try again.
Don't give up, education is a wonderful thing to get and will help you in your future. Play a sport, there is nothing better than having that team feeling and working together. Be involved in school and don't run away when things get diffucult.
What do you think is the most important thing we can teach future generations?
Stay strong, study hard and get involved in school, and hopefully attend college. Join a club and get involved, this will help you enjoy and grow in school. Study hard, and stay away from drugs and alcohol.
Cheers and best of luck young ones.
Stay strong the world is waiting for you.
