Reconciliation in Construction - Panel Discussion

According to Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Construction industry has seen the largest growth (38%) in jobs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people over the past five years.

Reconciliation in Construction industry should not be embraced as part of a contractual and legal requirement and in order to effectively address the issues associated with Reconciliation and Indigenous engagement, there is a requirement for flexibility and adaption of existing protocols and processes to better suit the cultural differences that arise with interactions between indigenous and non-indigenous peoples.

Time: 9:30am - 12pm

Panel discussion will take place from 10am - 11am, followed by 1 hour networking session.

Location: Royal Hall of Industries, Centennial Park, Sydney

Cost: Free

Refreshments: Coffee and tea  for participants on first come first serve basis.
