I think education makes a strong future. My mum has been in education for the last 25 years, so education has been a very important part of my life
From: Luke Carroll
What kind of future did you imagine for yourself when you were young?
I was a pretty sporty, athletic kid, so I grew up playing lots of sport. My main love was rugby league, so it was my ambition to become a professional rugby league player.
What kind of future do you imagine for yourself now?
My career now is in the entertainment industry as an actor and TV presenter, so my goal is remain consistently employed in this field, being part of projects that are close to my heart. I am also going to test myself and broaden my horizons by heading over to Los Angeles to try and get work in the US.
Who is your role model and why?
My mum is my role model. She was a single parent and worked two jobs to raise my brother and me on her own.
What do you think makes a strong future?
Education. My mum has been in education for the last 25 years, so education has been a very important part of my life.
