Who or what inspires you?

My mother Muriel Mona Olsson is the most amazing woman. Her vision of making a better world has been a hands on mission - working in Pika Wiya - the Aboriginal Health Clinic in Port Augusta when it opened, then into reconciliation around Australia and the world. She is still going strong at 81 y.o. and has come regularly to Sweden to speak at various gatherings about her life and about the need to love and respect your fellow beings regardless of the hurdles placed in your path. She is a great role model for her grandsons living in Sweden. She is a strong Yankuntjatjara/English/Scottish woman.

Where would you like to see your community in the future?

Work opportunities in Mimili, better housing built by the people - apprenticeships for many different jobs so that the community can grow with pride.
